Anyway it was great fun not as tough as a cyclocross but the other riders where just as good. Everyone is friendly and helpfull and i am looking forward to my next race. There are road and MTB crits which i will looking forward too.
looking forward to seeing my time and I hope I have represented Glenmarnock well. Wosca track tomorrow morning, another early night dad says :-(

Kris put in a good shift tonight in very tough conditions. It was a great race and good to see kris start at the front.
We all enjoyed the race and looking forward to the next one.

Kris had his first omnium practice races today. It was a mixed bag due to him being loaded with the cold but he managed 4th overall.
Kris also managed his first ever win in the sprint race and third in the points race so we came away happy.

Well thats our first Omnium in the bag all i can say is it was one of the toughest competitions i have ever seen. kris got of to great starts but fitness let us down. There was 2 incredible crashes which took out the 2 top riders. we had a great day and all in all gained great experience. They standard of track racing is just amazing to watch. So kris came home with a bruised and battered ego but after a nap he declared we shall try again at Meadowbank. I plan to join the club and join you all on the sat run with kris to build his stamina and strenght. As mechanic i will get the bike faster using all our resources which are now available to the club. Scott
