It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure that the bicycle is road worthy and complies with the law. Track bicycles used on the velodrome must meet the requirements of the velodrome. The club does not provide any facilities or service to check the condition of bicycle's used.
Club and mountain bike runs use routes suggested by the ride leader however it is the responsibility of the participant to ensure his/her own safety and for following the highway and other relevant codes. Participants must ensure that their cycling abilities are sufficient to ride a particular route.
Parents/ Guardians of participants under 16 please note that neither the club nor the ride leader can be held responsible for the supervision of participants under the age of 16 and it is your responsibility to ensure that the young person is adequately supervised. Young people under the age of 16 may participate in the clubs activities unsupervised if you, as their parent/guardian, are satisfied that they have the appropriate skills, experience and judgement to do so in a safe manner.
