How do I clean my white road cycling shoes? They are getting really manky. Just a brush and soap and water? Help me please!

Cif is supposed to be good for white bar tape, so maybe it'll work for shoes? (No liability accepted for any damage!)

Thats an idea, pink streamers, but I think they might cause turbulence at speed, Lol. But worry not Pauline is going to make me some pink knee warmers to match my arm warmers.
Im going to try soap, water and a brush first and if that doesnt work Ill try cif. Cheers Folks

Washing up liquid seemed to do the job on all but the most oily stains. Think I might try swarfega on the oil stains but am very pleased with the improvement so far.
