It looks like we will have to phone 9am on each Friday morning to secure a space for the following Friday. I booked on-line and there was only the 7to8 session. Glasgow life told me that there would be three sessions. I will find out why that is not the case.

Update on accredited ride timetable. I just phoned and Glasgow Life are now saying that the 7 to 8 pm session on Friday is the only one until after December. However they have now introduced 2 sessions on Monday and 2 on Thursdays. They are 8pm to 9 and 9pm to 10 for both nights. Therefore is a Monday evening a better option for a club night?

For information, the online booking system works before 9 am. I booked for 4th October. This may be e better way to do this especially if the on-line system perhaps opens after midnight?

Ive registered for online booking now. I booked on me, Pauline and Sean this morning but got a gentle row for monopolising the bookings. We should be booking individually the bloke said. Think they would tolerate us phoning up in twos but no more than that.

Tonight we have me, Pauline, Sean and Trefor at Velodrome 7 till 8. This could be the start of the GM mixed pursuit squad!! If any one else has nothing to do, please feel free to come in and spectate. No entry fee but may be an emotional drain.
FYI next Friday evening the Scottish Track championships start and tickets are on sale. Friday evening, all Saturday and all Sunday. I will be on the track, sadly not racing but doing my Commissaire thing.

Don't forget, Sunday 27th is the final day of Scottish Track Championships. This includes, Kilo and pursuits. There will be loads of tickets and if raining, where better than in the dry and warm Velodrome. Katie Archibald who won gold last weekend as part of women's GB pursuit team at Euros will be competing. If nothing else you will hear Sean doing commentary and I am on home straight gate doing Commissaire job. At least 2 Glenmarnock involved. Hope yo see you there.

Ill be doing the St Christies Hill Climb that day. I hope you have a good day. Great to see you and Sean involved in the sport at a high level. Youll need to get a polo shirt with the club name on Morley, just like Seans got.

Pauline, Virginia and I are booked onto the velodrome on Friday at 7pm. For folks yet to do their accreditation (Im thinking Alastair, Audrey, Robert, Douglas, Kevin) it might be an idea to come down, grab a coffee and get a look at the velodrome. Then you get to watch us three in action. What better offer for a Friday night?

Is there any charge to just watch the action on the velodrome? There obviously is when the pros are racing, but what about when it's only Joe Punter on the track?

No charge to watch Joe Public. You cant sit in the stadium seats, just the centre area.

For those who were becoming regular at velodrome on Fridays 7 to 8pm, it looks like that session has changed to juniors only from this week. Without wishing to mess up Monday's for those who want night outside winter training (why??) could I suggest we change to Mondays in the velodrome 8 to 9 pm? It's warm, dry, good lights and still very good exercise although perhaps too sensible. Any views?

Hi Morley, the road training is not very popular at the moment which is no surprise. So a Monday would be fine for me.
